Technology

That “Gone are the days when the only option was to leave a message for appointment scheduling or reminders on your home phone. Our front desk staff has the ability to communicate with our patients by phone, text and email. This makes scheduling appointments and confirmation reminders a breeze and is very convenient for our patients. Our patients often let us know how they appreciate this feature of our office.”

At East River Dental Care, we believe in combining dental technology to make your visit as comfortable as possible:

Zoom Whitening

Zoom-Whitening

The Zoom Whitening procedure is simple and painless. It begins with a short preparation to isolate your lips and gums. We then apply the Zoom Whitening Gel, which is activated by a specially designed light. Teeth typically become at least six to ten shades whiter, sometimes more. A five-minute fluoride treatment completes the procedure. In most cases, teeth get even whiter the first few days after the procedure.

Invisalign

Invisalign is the clear alternative to metal braces. Invisalign’s clear aligners over a span of approximately one year can treat even the most of complex cases without the need for traditional braces.

We use the Itero scanner for Invisalign eliminating gooey impressions and molds which is a more comfortable and faster procedure for our patients.  3D simulation of teeth alignment are created and shared with our patients so they can visualize the final results.

Digital x-rays

Digital-X-Ray

At East River Dental Care, we use digital x-rays to assess the condition of your oral health. There are several advantages in using digital technology as we can now take an x-ray, view it within seconds, manipulate it, and even have the option of sharing it electronically with friends and family all without the use of environmentally damaging chemicals and expensive film. The biggest advantage to digital X-rays is that one is exposed is much less radiation than conventional X-rays.

During your visits, we will also use one of our large monitors to show and explain the findings of your x-rays.

Intraoral Camera

Intraoral-Camera

During your visit, we use an intraoral camera to take photos of your mouth and teeth to enhance the new patient experience by educating you on areas of concern in your mouth. This a great educational tool to see areas that are not normally visible to you, and also provides a great way of showing before & after photos.
